Tui beer

Tui was first brewed in the small rural town Mangatainoka way back in 1889, by pioneering brewery Henry Wagstaff.

Legend has it, Wagstaff stopped for a cup of tea at the banks of the Mangatainoka River. He found the water made the finest cuppa he'd ever tasted and decided this would be the ideal place to build a brewery.

From it's humble beginning as the local drop in the Wairarapa-Hawkes Bay, renowned as a great tasting 4% alcohol session beer with a strong, smooth taste, the secret gem of Tui in recent years has leaked to the wider nation too such extremes that Tui is now NZ's most popular beer brand.

Tui's popularity has hit such extremities, from being the supportive supplier of magic water to club footy teams, Tui has had the call up to the big show- now the officially hydrating the S14 Crusaders lads and game in game out acknowledged as the tastiest bird at the Hurricanes S14 aftermatch functions.

If who like nothing more than to sink a few beers and the chance to take-the-piss with their mates.
